Organic Cotton 

At Txirte we are concerned with the sustainability of the environment. Organic cotton, 100% natural, comes from genetically unmodified seeds. Pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, fertilizers or synthetic additives are not used in its cultivation, and diseases or pests are combated by other plants or by species that are predators of these same diseases.

This contributes to greater soil protection and less water pollution.

In addition to being more environmentally sustainable, organic cotton is also biodegradable and hypoallergenic, therefore more suitable for sensitive skin. In addition, it provides a soft and smooth fabric offering great comfort, greater durability and greater resistance to machine washes.

Ring-Spun Cotton

Ring Spun it is the cotton manufacturing process in which the threads are twisted and compacted continuously, without breaking, becoming stronger, thinner and longer than normal cotton. The number of times the fiber is twisted determines its smoothness.

The result is a stronger, more durable, softer, more comfortable and, at the same time, lighter and more breathable cotton.

Although a normal 180 gr cotton t-shirt is heavier than a 140 gr combed cotton t-shirt, this one is longer lasting and much softer than the other.

Screen printing

Screen printing is the printing method that allows jobs with higher quality and durability. Txirte pieces usually have a silkscreen print on the front, accompanied by a phrase or an embroidered element, which gives the t-shirts a distinctive and exclusive touch.

Ring-Spun cotton provides the ideal surface for silk screen printing to have a higher quality finish, almost without imperfections, more resistant to washing, remaining intact for much longer.

This quality of the product and printing cannot be found in normal cotton, no matter how heavy it is.
